Charles Gulotta Bio

Charles Gulotta is a native of Brooklyn New York. He has lived in the Southern United States more than half his life. He is the author of Graveless  Here in Traceless Dust, a novel about small town Southern life intersecting with greed, politics, religion, and the legacy and history of the Civil War.  While the novel is totally fiction, Charles used his southern life experiences to create and mold the characters, settings, and circumstances of the story.

The gently rolling hills of Northeast Mississippi outwardly contain a benevolent culture all too common in the rural American South. For decades, multitudes of factories provided a meager but comfortable living to its residents. Incomes supplemented by small farms and orchards made for a serene and comfortable life for many a family. When global economics hit this region, many workers found themselves stranded in work places made noncompetitive by new world order technology and business practices.  Read more …
